The access request settings allow to send an email to a specified address when a user wants to access content that they do not currently have permissions to. The person receiving the email will then have the option to accept or decline the request.
When Sharegate migrates a site collection, it will not migrate the access requests settings. Therefore, the default value will be assigned to this field according to the destination environment.
If you want to assign a specific email address for access requests after the migration, follow these steps :
- Click on Settings -> Site Settings.
- Under Users and Permissions, select Site Permissions.
- In the top ribbon, under Manage, select Access Request Settings.
- Specify the desired address in the corresponding field.
