Pre-Check Report for Copy Structure

The Pre-Check Report helps you detect possible copy problems and adopt some of the best practices to ensure that your copy with Sharegate will be as smooth as possible.

Prerequisites

• Global Administrator or SharePoint Administrator permissions are always recommended.

How-To

1. Once you have selected the action you want to perform from the Migration menu and targeted a source and a destination, select the object you want to copy from the source.
2. Click Advanced Copy. Please note you must select an object on the left pane to have the Advanced Copy available
3. Click Run Pre-Check.
4. Once the Pre-Check is completed, the pre-check report will show any successes, warning, or errors. Double-click on the item to view the details. See Pre-Check Report Result Details for more details.
5. Once the operation is completed, you can click on Export to view the results in Excel.
