From the Advanced Settings, you can Reset Reports, Import sites from Sharegate migration, and manage Silent Updates.
Click Settings on the bottom left menu.
You will now see the General settings.
Click Advanced on the top left of the tabs.
You will now see the Advance settings.
Click Restore Default to reset all built in reports to their default titles, filters, and columns.
Click Import to import sites used with Sharegate Migration into the Explorer.
Note: Previous versions from 2010 will not be imported.
After importing your site you will see all your environments in the Explorer.
Toggle off to disallow Sharegate to gather telemetry data on its usage (toggle on is the default).
This data is used when planning new features to better match what users are doing with Sharegate. No confidential information will ever be collected in this manner.
It is recommended to keep the default settings in order to ensure that your automated tasks run as scheduled and that Sharegate stays up to date.
Toggle off to the first option disallow Sharegate to stay open in your system tray.
Toggle off the second option to disallow Sharegate to open at system startup.
Note: You can still exit Sharegate when it is open in your system tray. Just right click over the icon and select Exit.
Notifies you of your Sharegate version, and if there are updates available.
Keep the toggle on to allow Sharegate to Enable Automatic Updates. If you toggle off, you will be prompted when updates are available.
Note: Sharegate will only update when in Idle Mode, meaning that it is minimized to the system tray and no tasks are active or migrations are running.
Allows Sharegate to connect using invalid certificates.
This is toggled off by default.
Note: When you keep the default setting and attempt to connect using an invalid certificate, you will receive a warning prompt offering you the option to cancel or allow the connection.
